Project Description:
Incident Management & Escalation Management
- Resolving incident tickets related to Network Infrastructure (core routing, ACI Fabric, firewall and load balancing), HANA Enterprise Cloud, Internal Datacenter, and WAN.
- Documentation of resolved incidents and troubleshooting steps.
Service Requests & Change Management
- Processing of service requests related to network configuration, access requests, and provisioning.
- Implementation of approved configuration changes following change management procedures.
- Maintenance of accurate records of changes.
Firewall Hardware and OS Upgrades
- Upgrade Planning: Creation of an upgrade plan.
- Assessment of the current hardware and software configurations
- Identification of the latest firmware versions
- Scheduling the upgrade to minimize disruption
- Pre-Upgrade Checks: Check of all necessary components, including backup systems.
- Creating backups of current configurations
- Reviewing existing setups
- Preparing contingency plans for unexpected issues
- Execution of Upgrades: Implementation of planned upgrades, starting with hardware enhancements.
- Replacing outdated components with new or improved hardware
- Check compatibility
- Performing initial tests to check functionality
- OS Upgrade Execution: Upgrade the firewall's operating system to the latest version.
- Installing the new OS

Circuit Failover & Provider Maintenance Management
- Monitoring circuit failovers during provider maintenance windows

Regular Circuit Monitoring & Performance Optimization
- Performance Degradation Monitoring: Monitoring WAN circuits for signs of performance degradation, including
- Higher latency
- Increased jitter
- Packet loss
- Latency and Packet Loss Analysis: Analyzation of latency and packet loss patterns
- Identification of root causes
- Implementation of corrective measures
- Proactive Issue Identification: Employment of monitoring techniques to identify
