Senior Software Developer (m/f/d) Java/Python/Microservices in Munich

- Design and implement backend and/or full-stack software components based on defined business and technical requirements

- Develop and maintain software solutions using modern programming languages and frameworks (e.g. Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript)

- Design, implement, and integrate RESTful and event-driven APIs

- Design and implement data persistence layers using relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL), including schema design and performance optimization

- Apply clean code principles, SOLID design principles, and implement automated testing (unit and integration testing)

- Contribute to containerized and cloud-ready environments and architectures

- Support CI/CD pipelines, build automation, and infrastructure-as-code in collaboration with DevOps teams

- Produce and maintain technical documentation, including architecture descriptions, design decisions, and setup instructions

- Collaborate with product owners, architects, business analysts, and development teams within agile environments

- Perform code reviews and contribute to improving engineering standards and development practices

- Support troubleshooting, defect analysis, and resolution of production issues

- Programming languages: Java (Spring / Spring Boot / Java EE), Python

- Frontend and integration technologies: modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks (e.g. React, Angular)

- Software architectures: modular, microservices, and service-oriented architectures

- API design: RESTful and event-based communication

- Containerization and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes

- Databases: relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL)

- DevOps practices: CI/CD pipelines, automation, infrastructure-as-code

- University degree (Bachelor or Master) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a comparable discipline, or equivalent professional experience

- At least 5 years of proven professional experience in software development

- Strong backend development expertise (full-stack experience is advantageous)

- Proven experience with modern software architectures (cloud-ready, modular, service-oriented)
