For our Customer we are searching for a Lead DevOps Consultant (m/f/d)
Start: June/July 2025
End: 12 months with possible extension
Locations: Remote (must be available in Budapest within 3-4 hours in case of emergency)
Job Description:
- Lead a team of engineers to refactor customers existing alerting services from cron-based to event-driven architectures.
- Architect and develop microservices in Python using frameworks like FastAPI or Flask.
- Integrate NATS and JetStream for event-based message queuing.
- Manage container orchestration using Kubernetes, including writing and deploying Helm charts.
- Implement, configure, and maintain Elasticsearch for alert data storage and search capabilities.
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Argo CD, GitOps workflows, and version control with Git.
- Ensure the use of security best practices, including TLS/mTLS, authentication, and authorization in both APIs and Kubernetes.
- Integrate with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack.
- Provide leadership on debugging and troubleshooting live production systems.
- Collaborate with internal customer teams based in Budapest and external vendors.
- Oversee technical documentation, coding standards, testing practices, and project planning in an agile environment.
