Embedded Real‑Time Software Engineer / Architect - Avionics & AI Systems (f/m/d)

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded avionics software for aerospace applications
• Implement AI and deep learning algorithms for enhanced system functionality (e.g., sensor data processing)
• Collaborate with hardware, systems, and avionics teams to ensure seamless integration
• Ensure compliance with aviation standards (e.g., DO‑178C, DO‑254) and safety‑critical development practices
• Conduct software testing, validation, and verification to meet aerospace requirements

• Master's degree or Diploma in Computer Science or Aerospace Engineering
• At least 4 years of experience in IT/information systems
• At least 4 years of aerospace experience
• Proven experience developing embedded software for avionics or aerospace systems
• Familiarity with avionics standards (e.g., ARINC 653, DO‑178C) and safety‑critical development
• English at negotiation level; German beneficial
• Experience with C/C++ and/or Ada, plus real-time operating systems (e.g., VxWorks)
• Experience with AI/ML frameworks and deep learning techniques is required
