Azure DevOps (m/w/d) Architect

For our client, we are looking for an Azure DevOps Architect (m/f/d).

Start: April 2026

Duration: September 2026 (with option to extend)

Workload: Full-time

Location: 100% remote, occasional on-site workshops in Germany

Tasks:

• Creation of Low Level Design (LLD) documents based on High Level Designs (HLDs) already approved by the client for two new Azure Landing Zones
• Implementation of the defined LLDs, including deployment of the Azure Landing Zones
• Establishment of technical and organizational foundations for additional Azure Landing Zones
• Close collaboration with the Network Team and the Azure App Landing Zone Team
• Translation of architecture and network concepts into automated deployments using Terraform and Azure DevOps
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements (especially DORA) in a banking environment

Requirements:

• Extensive expertise in Azure Automation with a focus on:
  • Terraform (design, implementation, and maintenance of IaC modules)
  • Azure DevOps (ADO): repositories, CI/CD pipelines, service connections
  • Use of Microsoft-hosted agents and Managed DevOps Pools
• In-depth understanding of Azure resources and their use in Terraform-based automation
• Strong knowledge of Azure Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery, especially in regulated environments
• Experience in designing resilient and highly available Azure architectures
• Experience working in compliance-driven environments (banking, DORA)

Very good coding skills in:

• Terraform
• Azure DevOps Pipelines (YAML)
• Scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash)
• English (must-have), German (nice-to have)
