Tasks:
- Supervision of mock-up test for cable pull-in at jacket/Cable Deck in yard
- Supervision of topside cable installation for 66kV/220kV and Fiber Optic (FO) cables in yard
- Supervision of termination works
- Supervision of cable testing activities
- Conformity with the contractual requirements regarding the execution of the works
- Conformity with the technical regulations regarding the execution of the works
- Availability of and conformity with approved work procedures from cable contractors
- Monitoring and evaluation of repair works if applicable
- Supervision of transportation/lifting of cable contractor's components inside yard
- Supervision of incoming inspections of cable contractor's components (ensure required quality)
- Monitoring and evaluation of cause of and solution for non-conformance reports (NCRs)
- Monitoring and evaluation of final testing ("Harbor Acceptance Test", HAT)
- Desired participation in regular project status meetings
Requirements:
- University degree in electrical engineering or similar and adequate degree
- 5+ years' work experience in the energy cable sector
- 3 years' experience in topside cable installation 220kV
- Skilled in cable testing activities
- Ability to identify and evaluate different quality issue
- Pfisterer S4 or S6 certificate and minimum 2 years' experience
- Fluent in English, German is a plus
- SCC Certificate
