Senior Engineer - Cabin & Cargo (m/w/d)

• Lead technical development of cabin interior and cargo solutions from initial concept through certification and delivery
• Ensure innovative cabin designs meet safety standards, regulatory requirements, cost, weight and reliability targets
• Define detailed cabin interior requirements based on company standards and customer preferences
• Coordinate specification development and liaise closely with design teams to create state‑of‑the‑art cabin environments
• Perform market analysis of current and emerging cabin products; recommend best options for evaluation
• Conduct technical evaluation of shortlisted suppliers and recommend implementation solutions
• Monitor and report supplier performance
• Develop mitigation plans for impacted projects and perform critical path analysis
• Prepare and implement work‑around plans to ensure successful completion of project milestones
• Coordinate between project management, engineering departments and external partners
• Review project and budget status; manage documentation and maintain integrated master schedules
• Support development of technical solutions for in‑service and future fleet issues

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• 10+ years of experience in the aviation industry
• Extensive expertise in Cabin Interiors and modern cabin design concepts
• Strong understanding of certification and regulatory requirements
• Experience with aircraft development programs and program management
• Excellent communication, analytical and interpersonal skills
• Fluent in English; German skills would be beneficial
