Aerodynamics Engineer - Wind Tunnel & Data Specialist (f/m/d)

• Analyze and assess aerodynamic characteristics of high‑agility fighter aircraft
• Model and design aerodynamic datasets across the flight envelope for stability & control, performance, and loads assessments
• Coordinate and execute wind tunnel projects, including defining test requirements and designing test programs
• Develop concepts and specifications for test articles and supervise the external manufacturing of wind tunnel models
• Support instrumentation, calibration, and in‑house 3D printing of wind tunnel models
• Communicate and collaborate with all internal and external stakeholders, including supplier coordination
• Continuously work on improving processes to increase efficiency and maintain state‑of‑the‑art standards

• Master's degree or Diploma in Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, or an equivalent qualification
• At least 3 years of professional experience in the aerospace industry
• Strong knowledge of aerodynamics and flight mechanics, ideally with a focus on fighter aircraft
• In‑depth experience with measurement systems, typically in wind tunnel testing environments
• Familiarity with different wind tunnel topologies and related trade‑offs
• Hands‑on mindset for lab and wind tunnel work, including model handling
• English at negotiation level; German is a plus
• CAD experience, preferably CATIA V5
• Strong programming skills (Python, MATLAB, LabVIEW, MySQL) and solid Linux knowledge
