Lead Engineer AI (m/w/d)

• You take full ownership of the architecture of our real-time AI platform, from frontend to GPU infrastructure
• Creating advanced 2D/3D visualizations for sensor data becomes a key part of your daily work
• You build microservice-based backends for data ingestion, processing, and model execution using Python/FastAPI and Docker
• You optimize GPU inference pipelines to get the best performance out of PyTorch, ONNX Runtime, and TensorRT
• You work hands-on with automotive and robotics data formats such as ADTF, ROS, and point clouds
• Ensuring reliability, monitoring, logging, and error handling across all services is part of your responsibility
• You integrate the platform into customer environments and lead a small engineering team

• You bring strong hands-on experience with React/TypeScript and visualization frameworks such as Three.js, Deck.gl or D3
• You are confident using Vite/Electron to build cross-platform desktop applications
• You have excellent Python skills and work comfortably with microservices, REST/WebSockets, and tools like NumPy or OpenCV
• You have experience running AI inference with PyTorch and enjoy optimizing GPU workloads using TensorRT or ONNX Runtime; basic CUDA knowledge is part of your toolkit
• Working with ADTF, ROS bags, point clouds, or HDF5 feels natural to you
• You are proficient with Docker, the NVIDIA toolkit, Linux, and Git workflows
• You bring 5+ years of full-stack development experience, 3+ years with Python, and ideally exposure to robotics or autonomous systems
